Travis and Kaden

Kaden is stabilized and seems to be doing better.  He has been doing the treatments, but nothing from the kidney yet.   The Dr. said it would take 24 to 48 hours to tell whether it would help and the kidney would function.   We keep praying that the kidney will turn around from the treatments, start functioning, and is not damaged from the disease.  This weekend is critical!!!  We pray so hard as we don't want Travis' donation to be in vain and of course we want Kaden to get well and not have to go through more surgeries.

So thankful for the prayers and concern of all our family and friends.  What would we do without you all?!

Travis is home, got home about 1:30 today(Sat).  Unfortunately Sue and Jack (Cami's parents) had headed to the hospital and we ended up here with no way to get into the house.  We met Jack halfway between Travis' and the hospital and got the garage door opener.  Travis ate and is now resting, of course he wants to head back to the hospital tonight.  The Dr. did not like the sound of that, but how can we, as parents of a 32 year old, prevent him going???

Dave is here at Travis' but will be leaving tomorrow evening and heading back on Monday.  Praying about that situation also.  Sure would like to see the Lord face to face about right now and have a long talk with him.  Talking a lot to him, just hope he is listening.

Life is hard, but God is good. (A saying I heard very often from Doris Fox.)  We know he is helping us through this.

So glad Phyllis' sister got along well and am praying that all will be well with her recovery and what has been sent in will come back as nothing that is a problem for her health wise.

There are so many others with problems worse than ours, praying for them also.

We are so excited for Tom and Heather!!!!  A baby girl will be joining us in July.
