So sad, we wheeled Travis over to Riley for the second time today. Kaden is so swollen, just like he was when he was first diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome. It breaks my and Dave's heart. It is devastating to Travis and Cami. To see this sweet little boy sick again, seems so unfair.
He will have surgery tomorrow to put another port in to receive treatment to try to fight the disease. The treatment is similar to hemo dialysis....he will have it 5 days a week for many months. They will be going to Riley everyday, five days a week to receive this treatment. On Monday he will have surgery again to do a kidney biopsy to determine if it is in fact Nephrotic Syndrome. The Drs. were apprehensive that this may happen. Please keep Kaden in your prayers
